Unveiling the Truth: The Victors Write the History, But Not Anymore
The phrase “the victors write the history” is overused for a reason – it’s an absolute truth that exposes the distortions in what we know about our past. As Macedonians, the real people with deep roots in Ancient Macedonia history, we’ve been fed a narrative that’s often false or incomplete. The great feats of kings like Alexander the Great, the causes of epic battles, and the origins of our Balkan antiquity are stitched into a tapestry of falsehoods. This isn’t accidental; it’s crafted by Western institutions – dominated by Anglo-American academi, with others blindly following suit.
Independent researchers and scholars, free from the institutional grip, repeatedly uncover a different reality beneath this woven lie. Facts about Macedonian heritage are obfuscated, twisted, or omitted to push Eurocentric and Americentric views. This bias isn’t limited to history; it infiltrates linguistics, archaeology, and all disciplines dealing with antiquity. What we’re given isn’t true history – it’s “historiopolitics,” a politicized version designed to serve nationalistic agendas. Billions have been funneled into so-called authorities like Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard to promote these Hellenic falsehoods, sidelining the authentic story of Ancient Macedonia.
Even when the narrative isn’t outright fabricated, it’s oversimplified: “This king conquered that land,” or “This explorer discovered it” (when evidence says otherwise). No deeper dive into the how, when, or why – especially if it challenges the myth of Ancient Greece. Anything that threatens this official line is dismissed as “conspiracy theory” or “bogus” to protect their empire of lies. But as Macedonians seeking the truth about our roots, we know better.
This blog exists to reveal the unvarnished truth about Ancient Macedonia history and dismantle one of the greatest deceptions: the myth of Ancient Greece. To many, this may sound radical, but it’s grounded in rigorous, independent Macedonian research. I won’t claim it’s the absolute truth – none exists – but it’s a closer approximation than the mainstream drivel. I urge you, fellow Macedonians and truth-seekers, to verify these claims yourself: cross-check sources, explore Balkan antiquity, and draw your own conclusions based on evidence, not propaganda.
Happy reading and discovering. Buckle up – reclaiming our Macedonian heritage is going to be a bumpy, enlightening ride.
